SOSCA Thanks to ALL Teams, Volunteers, Fans, Audience and Contribut

Thursday, July 17, 2008 -  On behalf of the Somali Sports and Cultural Association (SOSCA), we thank you to participated of our 18th Somali Week Soccer Tournament 2008. 

We hope that you enjoyed the soccer competition. Toronto it is a multicultural city and an appropriate for the setting.

We are proud to host the incredible teams from Wembely Stars, Norway Dahabshil, Windsor, Cardiff Bay Warrior, Weston FC, Rochester FC, Simba Norway, Seif FC, Sheffield, Hilltop FC, Hamilton, Horn of Africa, Atlanta Horseed, Daynile, Banadir and  Northern Stars

The best part of this tournament was a young enthusiastic Somalia players come around the world to present their skills and techniques to all Torontonian fans.

The SOSCA organization has received support in many ways over the past 18 years, without this tremendous help the tournament would not happen.

Many people volunteer their time and effort to do tasks too numerous to count. We wish to acknowledge the contribution from the Somali Communities, Somali businesses, Municipalities, Private sectors and individuals who donated their money & time, big thanks goes to everyone not mentioned here.
